Safe Feeling

GAIN Neighborhood Walks

In response to the recent events in and around Greenwood
GAIN is organizing neighborhood walks.

Here is a list of scheduled walks and meeting locations:
Tuesday, November 17. 7:30PM
Meet at Greenwood Park, SE Corner at 87th & Fremont Ave North
Saturday, November 21, 2PM
Meet in the parking lot behind Olive You at 8516 Greenwood Ave North

We will of course call 911 if we see anything suspicious.

Having a neighborhood that seems to be always busy, with people out and about helps to deter crimes such as car prowls and home break-ins. To help with that, GAIN offers a chance to walk around the neighborhood to be that visible presence. In addition we take note of such things as broken street lights, vandalized or missing street signs, or graffiti on public property and report them to the appropriate authorities.
